1.On-site explanation of relevant precautions for paint:
1.Understand the MSDS of water-based paint;
2.During storage, fire prevention, explosion prevention, ventilation, and cooling measures should be taken;
3.Prevent paint from bulging, leaking, or splashing. In case of emergency, correctly use the eyewash station. If chemicals get into the eyes, open the dust cover and gently push the hand valve. Clean water will automatically spray from the eyewash nozzle. Lean close to the eyewash nozzle and rinse the eyes with a large amount of clean water for 15minutes, and after use, reset the hand valve and dust cover.
4. Warehouse managers should ventilate the warehouse regularly and conduct safety checks on fire-fighting equipment;
5. During the use of paint, avoid actions such as hitting, colliding, impacting, and friction to prevent sparks and ignition. Spray painters should wear protective clothing.
6. Smoking is strictly prohibited, and it is forbidden to bring matches, lighters, and other fire sources into the warehouse;
7. The warehouse is equipped with static electricity devices, explosion-proof lights, and explosion-proof electrical switches, as well as oil leak collection pits.
2. On-site operation on how to correctly use fire extinguishers and fire blankets, and how to conduct proper emergency rescue. Warehouse managers and spray painting members used fire-fighting equipment on-site.
3. Start the emergency drill.
On May 29, 2018, at 5:30 PM, the spray painting workshop workers were working normally;
5:35 the paint warehouse caught fire;
5:36 Ruan Liling/Chen Ying/spray painting team members discovered that the paint warehouse/spray painting process was on fire and immediately called the team leader, warehouse managers, workshop director, and security department. (1. When the fire is small, Chen Ying organized on-site personnel (Ruan Liling, Li Yonglong, and other safety personnel) to extinguish the fire with fire extinguishers; 2. When the fire spreads quickly but will not burn electrical equipment, immediately use fire hoses and fire extinguishers to put out the fire; 3. When the fire spreads quickly and may burn electrical equipment, immediately stop all equipment and disconnect the main electrical source);
5:37 Li Yonglong immediately organized on-site staff to evacuate to a safe distance and cut off the power supply;
5:38 Li Gang organized on-site rescue, coordinating emergency personnel: He Haibo, Li Yonglong, Qin Yifu, Li Yiguang, Chen Ying, and other team members, using fire extinguishers and fire blankets for on-site fire fighting. If there is a liquid leak, to prevent burning liquid from spreading, sand can be used to build a dam to block it. For initial fires caused by liquid leaking on the ground, use dry powder extinguishers or fire sand to extinguish the fire; for fires occurring at equipment points, use dry powder extinguishers to extinguish the fire;
5:42 the fire in the paint warehouse/spray painting process was extinguished;
5:43 the drill ended.
